Smoking is bad for health

     Nowadays some students start to smoke because they think it makes them look cool. But in fact, smoking is bad for their health.

     First, as everyone knows, smoking is bad for the lungs. People who smoke a lot are likely get lung cancer and die earlier than expected.

     Second, smoking pollutes the air. If someone is smoking, people around them can be harmed by breathing in the polluted air.

     Third, cigarettes have nicotine in them. Nicotine can get people addicted to smoking. Once they start, it will be hard to give up.

     I hope more and more students can realize the problem. Those who have started should stop smoking. As a matter of fact, the best way to fight smoking is never to start.
